Stardust Family United is an IWW branch whose members work for Ellen’s Stardust Diner, a New York City institution that has been serving up diner classics and live entertainment since 1987. They are working to guarantee that all employees are safe, secure, fairly compensated and treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.

CURRENTLY HAPPENING (1/17/2017):
Within the past four hours, 15 servers have been fired in a clear retaliation against union activity, with more firings possibly on the way. Each employee was a union supporter, and most of them received their termination notices via email. Some of these employees have been working at Ellen’s for over 15 years, and two of them received termination emails during their shift. This brings the total number of firings for union activity to 31.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Tell the owners and management of Ellen’s Stardust Diner that this is unacceptable and demand the reinstatement of these employees.
